So in this recent long weekend, we took a trip to visit the Queen of hills- Mussoorie. The first day in Mussoorie will paint itself something like this -the crisp chilly air of winter, hustle bustle of tourists, the steam from masala chai, maggi and momos wafting throughout the Mall road, glee of local traders when a trade is made, constant bargain banters of bicycle rickshawalas and troupe of watchful langurs waiting with bated breath to steal food from passing-by tourists.
As the nightfall arrives, the Mall road transformed from the enthralled street to a picturesque romantic landscape lit up by the vintage street lamps giving away a cosy glow to the town. The change was seamless like a sunset- weaving us into the seamless blankets of night. It was a perfect day for friends and laughter. The day left an after taste of togetherness.
Will come back soon with another load of cozy blankets of memories..till then Stay quirky readers..
